If you ask a couple if they want a boy or a girl, they’ll usually reply with “We just want the baby to be healthy.” It sounds cliched.
It’s true though, we wouldn’t mind having a baby boy or a girl as long as they’re safe and healthy.
One way you can tell if you’re having a boy or girl is by checking the baby’s heartbeat. If it’s over 140 beats per minute, it’s a girl! Otherwise, get ready for a baby boy!
There are some other methods as well but they are less trustworthy. These include using the age of the mother and the date of conception to tell the gender or dangling a ring in front of the mother’s stomach. If the ring swings back and forth, it’s a girl. If it swings in circles, it’s a boy.
You have to admit, even if they seem bogus and don’t work, they sure are fun to try. And who knows, maybe you’ll end up successfully predicting your baby’s gender! This woman sure was surprised when she successfully predicted the gender of her newborn.
